PRESIDENT
Jim MacLeod, PEng, ALS
Jim has been involved in the geomatics industry for over 40 years. Not only is he a recognized figure in Alberta’s oilfield sector, he has also completed a number of International survey projects. Jim has owned three survey companies in the past 15 years and has grown each one into large, multi-disciplined Geomatics firms.

Joe Longo, ALS
Joe received his commission as an Alberta Land Surveyor in 1999. Over the past 25 years, Joe has worked as a crew chief as well as in project management, sales and marketing, and management within the surveying industry. His experience ensures that clients will receive a quality product and service, while Quest staff receive the support and knowledge they need to become top performers.

Danny Trautman, CET
Danny has over 20 years of surveying experience in the energy industry, and has been involved in project management, sales and marketing for four survey firms. He builds long-standing relationships with customers and ensures that customer first service is always maintained.

Mark Prevost, CLS
Mark has been involved in the geomatics industry for over 35 years working in the oil & gas industry as well as completing numerous Canada Lands projects in the Northwest & Yukon Territories.

Ward Matheson
Ward has over 25 years of experience in the resource industry throughout Canada and the USA. Ward has worked as crew chief, business development, operations and at senior management levels within the surveying, pipeline, and aerial sensing and mapping industries. He is currently heading Business Development and Strategic Growth out of Quest’s Calgary office.

Troy Dashkewytch
Troy comes to Quest with 25 years of survey knowledge including field crew chief, project coordinator, client manager, and long standing background in oil &gas business development. He has worked in diversified fields including land, environmental, and safety. His roles have included management to executive levels and he’s more then happy to apply this skill set to help your company achieve all their geomatics goals.
GIS BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Dean Olson
Dean heads our GIS/Mapping department. He has over 10 years of experience in managing GIS projects for clients and helping to develop solutions to your needs. Dean’s goal is to provide our clients with accurate, detailed information in a GIS format.
PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT LEAD
Mason McBride
Mason is the head of our plan drafting and plan preparation department. He and his staff support our clients by delivering the products they need in a timely manner.

David ten Broek, ALS
David received his commission as an Alberta Land Surveyor in 2001 and has over 15 years of experience in the Alberta Oil and Gas industry as a Crew Chief, ALS, and Project Manager.
